For the 2015-2016 season the Eugene Opera has doubled the number of the productions to bring even more of this exciting art form to the city. This year the Eugene Opera will perform a mix of classic and modern operas, all based on famous works of literature: Benjamin Britten’s “The Turn of the Screw,” Gaetano Donizetti’s “Lucia di Lammermoor,” Piotr Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin” and Mark Adamo’s “Little Women.” The Eugene Opera routinely features both nationally recognized talent and up-and-coming singers from throughout the region, giving fans the chance to experience world-class opera with a Northwest spirit.

Additionally, the Eugene Opera offers a growing range of educational programs for schools and young artists.
